For myself, I set a reasonable consumption rate - two teaspoons per day. Chia grains are very small, but the seed shell is quite hard. The seeds are tasteless and odorless, so they can be used as a filler for other, bright carriers of taste.

At first I consumed them whole, pouring water over them, the mixture immediately turned into a sticky mass. Then I started grinding the grains in a coffee grinder and making a full afternoon snack using the seeds. I take some fermented milk product, about 250g (cup), add a couple of tablespoons of ground seeds, and also season it with raspberries or currants or cherries to improve the taste. But this is possible and desired, it just turns out tastier with berries.

Those who want to lose weight use chia seeds for this purpose, since the swollen seeds provide a satiating effect, and at the same time there are few calories. I heard that the gelling properties of chia seeds are used as a thickener in the preparation of puddings, and even in baking instead of eggs, for example during fasting.
