I am against the fact that for some reason everyone considers me an “angel girl” who constantly wears floral dresses. And I'm completely different. No, I'm not a bad person. But I can’t be like my mother - I don’t want to be a copy of her. I have a different eye shape, appearance, even the music is different - I recently recorded an album. And, believe me, it has nothing in common with my mother’s work.

“Shooting for MAXIM is a bold statement about yourself and your individuality. And to some extent, I did this so that I would no longer be perceived as Valeria’s little daughter.”

But I think that this photo shoot is an isolated incident. There are no more reasons for now. I did what I wanted and am happy with the result.

Woman.ru: Were you comfortable during the shooting?

A. Sh.: The first couple of shots were wildly exciting, because there were only men in the studio - a photographer, a journalist, the editor-in-chief... And then the guys explained to me that they felt like doctors - what they had not seen during their work in the magazine.

And indeed, during the shooting process I did not feel any passion or lust from them. We just took beautiful high-quality photographs and made art. And I liked it.

A. Sh.: I consider photography to be art. And only a photographer can turn erotic photographs into art. In my opinion, everything depends on him rather than on the model. Personally, I am not a professional in this matter. And it was important for me that the photographer helped me in the shooting. I've seen his other works - they're a sight to behold! Very beautiful, high quality and somehow European.

Woman.ru: How did Valeria and Joseph Prigozhin react to your action?

A. Sh.: They knew about the shooting in advance. Mom did not approve and was extremely unhappy. But I want to clarify one point right away: some journalists wrote that Anna Shulgina had a fight with Valeria, and now mother and daughter are in a quarrel and are not talking. So, this was not the case, this is a kindergarten.

“My mother simply told me: “Daughter, you are already an adult, you are 22 years old. If it is a mistake, it will be YOUR mistake." And I am grateful to her for this position, because I know that she did not like this idea. It's too much for her."

Joseph was less angry with me: “When should we do this, if not now? Why not try it? And I agree with him, this is not prostitution!

Then I had my 9th grade graduation, after the holiday I came home, went to a forum about losing weight and just started to find out what it was. I started reading a lot about diets.

“For me it was a game: first I tried one way of eating, then another. This way I tested myself for strength. Can I? Is there enough willpower?

At the same time, I did not suffer due to the fact that I was starving or restricting myself in nutrition. I challenged myself - it's like Lost, but only in my head and with me in the lead role.
