How to eat and what foods to eat on a diet for the second negative blood group?

History of people with the second blood group

Naturopath Peter D'adamo characterizes the modern life of carriers of the second blood type as difficult . Their ancestors evolved in a struggle to survive as Africa's wild animal herds dwindled and hunting fell into the background. In Europe and Asia, they began to grow crops and began to form stable communities instead of hunting tribes. Their body was rebuilt and learned to obtain energy from carbohydrates, which is reflected in the structure of digestion:

  1. Low stomach acid levels.
  2. High levels of enzymes that break down disaccharides in the intestines.
  3. Low intestinal alkaline phosphatase levels.

All these factors make it difficult to digest and absorb animal proteins. By giving up meat and dairy products, people with blood type O will experience increased productivity, mental clarity, vitality and increased longevity.

Benefits and harms

The undoubted benefit of such a diet will be not only weight loss, but also the enrichment of the body with iron and protein. This will significantly improve your well-being, improve metabolic processes and strengthen your immune system.

As a rule, such nutrition does not have any harmful effects (provided that the person is absolutely healthy). But a significant drawback is the limited range of permitted products and an impressive list of prohibited ones. But they also contain many useful substances necessary for the proper functioning of the body.

To avoid the development of vitamin deficiency, it is important to ensure that the diet contains a sufficient amount of useful substances. Another drawback is that it is difficult to get used to the diet, but the result is worth it.

Features of the diet for blood group 2 negative

When discussing nutrition for blood type 2 negative, Dr. D'Adamo does not always talk about losing weight, but considers food for health. By giving up meat, people of this genetic type will gain more energy because they will eliminate toxins from their diet. Nutrition Strategy : Clean, fresh and organic foods that will help strengthen the immune system, reduce the risk of heart disease, cancer and diabetes.

But a complete refusal of meat in harsh continental and temperate climates can lead to anemia, problems with the nervous system, and immunity disorders. Therefore, you should think hundreds of times before excluding an entire group of foods from your diet.

D'Adamo Family Diet

- What does this mean? Treatment with natural ingredients only?

- Since this is not an official medical term, this can be understood as anything. Any naturopath can say: I’m not like that, I’m a completely different naturopath. They have no regulation of their activities.

So, the D'Adamo family developed a diet based on the following ideology. There are four blood types. Accordingly, depending on what blood type you have, some products are indicated for you, others are not indicated. Allegedly, if you select a rational amount of products that correspond to your blood type, you will have a weight loss effect, but if you eat inappropriate ones, this will have a toxic effect.

Naturopaths have no regulation of their activities

This is very similar to horoscopes, only there are 12 gradations, but here humanity is divided into four groups.

- But horoscopes have been scientifically refuted.

- But the constellations have not been refuted. It’s the same here: medicine recognizes blood groups, and then some kind of theory is developed based on this generally accepted fact. She, like a soap bubble, grows and grows, then bursts, and not even a trace remains. But over time, some other topic appears.

- But blood type is a very specific thing, showing that different red blood cells produce different antibodies. How could this be related to food?

—Members of the Adamo family claim that

  • The first blood group is supposedly the oldest: all other types of blood groups descended from it. Accordingly, the bearer of the first group is a strong, self-sufficient leader. These are primitive hunters, they are meat eaters, they must consume a lot of animal protein. They say they have a strong digestive and immune system, but it is difficult for them to adapt to environmental conditions, this is their disadvantage. True, there is a logical inconsistency: hunters must adapt well, because they hunt here today, there tomorrow. But these nuances do not bother Adamo.
  • the second group is already a farmer. This group appeared later, when people switched to a sedentary lifestyle. Their characteristic features are constancy and good adaptation to working in a team. Such a person must practice complete vegetarianism.
  • the third group is the nomadic wanderer. Accordingly, this blood type appeared as a result of the migration of races, it is distinguished by a strong immune system and a balanced nervous system. Nomads are omnivores; they can eat anything.
  • the fourth blood group is the result of mixing the second and third, and, accordingly, this is some kind of intermediate option between the rules for these two groups...

All this would be good, but blood groups were formed millions of years before the appearance of humans, approximately 3-5 million years ago. For paleontology, several million years is an insignificant period. Various primates have:

  • second
  • first
  • third

blood groups.

The thing is that, if we proceed from evolutionary theory, then our common ancestor, who lived before the branches of humans and monkeys separated, already had these blood groups.

As a matter of fact, we could put an end to this. Because, as it follows from here, all other postulates - arguments about the nomad, the farmer, the hunter - are simply anti-science fiction.

- So the topic can be closed?

- About the benefits of such a diet - yes.

But what’s interesting is that the distribution of blood groups on Earth is uneven. If we proceed from the Mendelian theory of inheritance, which we learned at school (remember the experiments with peas?), then there should be a distribution that is more or less amenable to statistical probability.

However, this is not the case. The first blood group is very widespread, almost 100 percent, among the aborigines of South America. Interestingly, the first blood group also begins to predominate in isolates. We can see this in the example of Iceland.

The fact is that people with different blood groups tolerate various infectious diseases differently, and thus natural selection occurred.

There is a fairly well-founded theory that many microorganisms are capable of secreting on their surface antigens characteristic of blood group antigens. And thus the body accepts them as its own and, roughly speaking, allows them into itself with less suspicion. Accordingly, such people are more at risk of developing infectious diseases.

For example:

  • in Australia
  • in North America
  • South America

Among indigenous peoples, the number of people with the third blood group ranges from zero to five percent. But in the Far East there are 20-25 percent of indigenous people with this group...

— That is, in these regions, roughly speaking, certain diseases passed away that wiped out carriers of one or another blood group?

- Exactly. And so it turns out that entire continents are doomed to a mono-diet if migration is not taken into account.

Why should you eat often?

The dynamic modern world brings a lot of stress. People with blood type O produce high levels of the hormone cortisol in response to anxiety. The rhythm of cortisol secretion depends on time: the peak occurs in the early morning between six and eight in the morning with a gradual decrease throughout the day.

The tendency for cortisol levels to increase is manifested by several symptoms :

  • sleep disorders;
  • loss of clarity of thinking;
  • high blood viscosity;
  • loss of muscle mass;
  • accumulation of fat.

With chronic stress, people with blood type O are prone to developing insulin resistance, hypothyroidism and obsessive-compulsive disorder. To balance cortisol levels, Dr. D'Adamo recommends :

  1. Limit your intake of sugar, caffeine and alcohol.
  2. Don't skip meals, especially breakfast.
  3. Eat often, but in small portions, to stabilize glucose levels.

Stress factors for this genotype are: crowded crowds, loud noises, negative emotions, smoking, strong odors, overeating sugar, overwork at work, violence in TV shows, lack of sleep, heat and cold.

Therefore, calming exercises are an essential component for the health and well-being of people with type II blood. To recover from stress, you need to do hatha yoga, tai chi, meditation and breathing practices. During strength training, you should avoid overtraining, which increases cortisol levels.

Basic recommendations for life:

  1. Develop creative talents.
  2. Stick to a strict daily routine.
  3. Go to bed no later than 23:00 , sleep eight hours or more. Don't lie in bed for a long time in the morning.
  4. Take twenty-minute breaks during the workday to relax.
  5. Don't skip meals. Eat more protein foods at the beginning of the day.
  6. Avoid eating during times of stress and irritability.
  7. Do 30 minutes of relaxation exercises three times a week.
  8. Eat small and often. Chew food thoroughly for better digestion.

Why limit yourself to food at all?

Everyone wants to lose weight and look slim and fit, but not everyone knows how to do it correctly. There are a huge number of diets that are used not only for excess weight, but also for some chronic and acute diseases.

With the help of a special diet, you can not only get rid of extra pounds, but also strengthen your immune system and improve your overall well-being. The main condition is to give up sweets, flour and fast food. And the key to good health will be regular consumption of clean water (at least 1.5 liters per day).

What is the difference between the diet for the second negative blood group?

Nutrition is aimed at reducing:

  • animal fats;
  • heavy protein foods;
  • simple carbohydrates;
  • gluten and lactose.

Therefore, it is recommended to switch to a vegetarian diet without chemicals and components that irritate the gastrointestinal tract:

  1. Cereals and whole grains are a typical source of energy in the diet of people of the second negative blood group. Buckwheat, rice, soy, oats, rye are the best options. You can include barley, coarse grains, quinoa, couscous, and most herbs and spices in your diet, although red pepper and cayenne pepper are not recommended. It is worth giving up wheat flour, starch and semolina.
  2. It is recommended to avoid beef, pork, lamb and game, and only occasionally include chicken or turkey in the diet. Four times a week you should eat fish and seafood: salmon, rainbow trout, cod, perch, sardines or mackerel. Sea bass, swordfish, and herring are considered less healthy. Clams, catfish, halibut, mussels, oysters, shrimp and squid are not considered healthy foods.
  3. Prefer plant sources of protein: nuts, seeds and legumes. Dairy products slow down nutrient metabolism, but soy milk and cheeses are acceptable. Pumpkin seeds, peanuts and peanut butter, lentils, green beans and black, speckled and red soybeans are the best dietary choices for blood type O people. Green beans and peas, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, almonds and walnuts are recommended less. Cashews, pistachios and beans should be avoided - they slow down metabolic processes.
  4. The diet for blood type 2 negative is based on the consumption of vegetables, which must be eaten in the amount of 2-6 servings per day raw, 1-6 servings boiled and 3-4 servings of fruit. Focus primarily on spinach, broccoli, carrots, cherries, blackberries, blueberries, figs, grapefruit, pineapple, onions and garlic. The following foods are allowed: cabbage, salads, asparagus, beets, sea vegetables, zucchini, apples, grapes, strawberries and watermelons. Avoid bananas, hot or sweet peppers, potatoes, eggplants, tomatoes and oranges.

When eating meat, people with blood type O experience lethargy because their stomachs produce little acid to digest it. As a result, the toxic load increases. But consumption of tofu has a beneficial effect on insulin levels. Some fermented dairy products, such as yoghurt, kefir, sour cream and cottage cheese, are tolerated by the body as the proteins are broken down during the fermentation process.

Authorized Products

This list of recommended foods includes those that are considered healthy, and therefore it is highly recommended to include them in your diet. It is advisable to have them on the table every day. So, permitted products include:

  • fruits: apricots, lemons, cranberries, blueberries, pineapples, cherries, blueberries;
  • vegetables: spinach, carrots, turnips, pumpkin, onions, beets;
  • lean turkey and chicken meat. The best option would be to replace animal proteins with plant proteins, that is, cook mushrooms;
  • representatives of the legume family: lentils, peas and soybeans;
  • fermented milk products: hard cheese, kefir, cottage cheese;
  • cereals and cereals: it is allowed to add to the diet only those cereals that contain a small amount of gluten, that is, millet, buckwheat, millet and barley;
  • It is allowed to eat trout, mackerel, salmon, sardines, carp, as well as a wide variety of seafood.

For drinks, preference should be given to a variety of fruit and vegetable juices from the recommended list. You are also allowed to occasionally treat yourself to a glass of red wine. All types of tea except black and high-quality ground coffee are also allowed.

Rh negative factor and nutrition

The blood type diet, despite mixed reviews, is proving to work. The only problem is taking into account the negative Rh factor. This species belongs to the Basque biotype, inheriting the genes of ancient ancestors in the Pyrenees mountains between France and Spain. The descendants of hunter-gatherers were accustomed to eating meat, poultry, seafood, root vegetables, tubers, fruits and vegetables growing in Europe, nuts and seeds.

For example, peanuts, native to North America, had never grown in Europe before their discovery in the United States. It is not surprising that the majority of American descendants are Rh positive, and it is those with Rh negative who are prone to allergic reactions to peanuts. A study of biotypes showed an increased amount of immunoglobulin E in the blood of people with negative Rhesus. Therefore, they react to nuts, beans, eggs, meat, gluten, and nightshades.

Menu options

The diet menu for 1 negative blood group is quite extensive. You can prepare many different tasty and healthy dishes from permitted products. Let's consider 3 diet options.

First:

  • For breakfast, it is advisable to eat a couple of apples and drink a glass of unsweetened tea, and a few hours later - a glass of fresh juice.
  • For lunch you can eat 200 g of boiled meat and vegetable soup with chicken.
  • For an afternoon snack - a herbal decoction, and in the evening - 200 g of baked fish, seaweed and compote.
  • Drink a glass of tea at night.

Second:

  • For breakfast, a boiled egg, beet salad and a piece of dry rye bread with tea.
  • Drink juice a little later.
  • For lunch, include vegetarian soup and some fried meat, stewed vegetables, cucumber salad and bread.
  • After lunch, it is recommended to drink a glass of juice.
  • For dinner, eat 100 g of shrimp with fried zucchini.

Third:

  • For breakfast, any fruit and juice.
  • Then you can drink a herbal decoction.
  • For lunch, eat fried liver with any porridge, a slice of bread and tomato salad.
  • For afternoon tea - tea.
  • In the evening - some squid and buckwheat.

Diet for blood type 2 negative for women

A negative Rh factor, regardless of blood type, is a risk for miscarriage and also a factor in infertility. In some cases, a chemical reaction occurs between antigens in the blood and food, so the immune system begins to produce antibodies to it. Numerous reactions can weaken the immune system, increase inflammation, and disrupt digestion and metabolic balance. They can also be a factor in infertility or miscarriage if the mother and father have opposite blood types or the woman is carrying a fetus with the opposite type. In this case, it is better to avoid foods that cause antibody-antigen reactions.

Women during menopause and PMS are especially prone to inflammation and stress, so a diet for blood type 2 negative will ease irritability, help regulate the cycle and easily endure menopause without hormone replacement therapy.

Reviews

In general, people characterize this diet as an effective way to lose weight. Negative reviews are extremely rare, and this is only due to the fact that people who have direct contraindications (chronic diseases, diabetes, etc.) tried to follow such a diet.

Elena, 30 years old: “I tried to lose weight for a long time, tried a huge number of diets, but nothing worked. A friend advised me to try the blood diet (my first negative one). I was very pleased. The weight is gone, and I feel great.”

Irina, 25 years old: “The blood diet is what you need to lose weight. After all, it is the characteristics of each specific organism that are taken into account here. Now I always try to adhere to these rules, and I practically don’t consume harmful foods.”

Is a blood type 2 negative diet necessary for men?

People with the second blood type have an increased incidence of thyroid, biliary tract and esophageal cancer, stroke (women only, not men). People of Asian descent are more susceptible to tuberculosis.

It is known that men are less likely to follow proper nutrition, smoke more, drink more, abuse fast food and are prone to stomach diseases, so they will somehow feel better if they give up unhealthy foods. The recommendations mostly relate to lifestyle and boil down to eating more fresh, unprocessed and healthy food.

Who is suitable and not suitable

A diet for 1 negative blood type should be followed by people who are prone to overeating, are obese, and do not move much. This is a good reason to change your eating habits, cleanse your body of toxins and improve your well-being.

Contraindications to such nutrition are:

  1. pregnancy and lactation;
  2. any infectious or viral diseases;
  3. diabetes;
  4. blood diseases;
  5. chronic pathologies of internal organs.

In any case, before following any diet, you must be examined by a doctor. And only after making sure that there are no direct contraindications can you switch to a dietary diet.

Forbidden food

It is necessary to eliminate from the diet:

  • eggplants, cabbage and potatoes;
  • cucumbers and tomatoes;
  • salted fish;
  • liver, dark meat;
  • bananas and mangoes;
  • ketchup and mayonnaise.

Restricted products:

  • radish;
  • pears and apples;
