I chose Vera Brezhneva’s diet for myself. I don’t know for sure whether Vera is sitting on it now, but I learned about these nutritional rules on the singer’s Instagram page.

This program includes both a nutrition system and a training system, and it is designed for three months, since it is in 90 days, as the trainers say, that “a new habit is formed.”

About a year ago, I found my “trainer” on Vera Brezhneva’s Instagram and subscribed to her profile. It took me a while to decide to start changing my life, but it finally happened. Now that a month has passed, I am ready to share my results with you, because there is definitely something to share.

My program is paid, which, by the way, is also very motivating. It consists of a weekly nutrition program, a weekly workout program (workout every day except Sunday), advice from a trainer and weekly measurements of my body parameters. Nutrition

The nutritional system consists of alternating protein and carbohydrate foods. I don’t starve at all, I eat five times a day, the last meal is before 20.00.

My day goes like this:

breakfast

: omelet, scrambled eggs or oatmeal with milk (I most often replace it with three tablespoons of oat bran and one tablespoon of 10 percent sour cream with two teaspoons of honey), or cottage cheese with a fat content of up to 5 percent;

snack

: one fruit (except bananas and grapes) or whole grain slice of bread with cheese;

dinner

: complex carbohydrates and vegetables, for example, black rice, buckwheat, beans, bulgur and various vegetable salads;

dinner

: protein plus vegetables, for example, sauteed vegetables with chicken, fish with vegetable salad, seafood with vegetables.

The main thing is to limit yourself in the size of portions, do not eat anything floury, be sure to consume fiber in the form of oat bran, yeast-free whole grain bread and drink at least two liters of water a day.

The workouts I do at home include cardio, strength training, and stretching. There are so-called “active days” when you can do what you love, for example, rollerblading or cycling or just running in the park.

Before starting the program, my weight was 56.8 kilograms. With a height of 162 centimeters, I should weigh 52 kilograms, and this weight completely suits me - one might say, this is my ideal weight at which I like myself in the mirror. By volume: waist - 78 centimeters, buttocks - 95, chest - 89. The program involves measuring other parameters, I will not list them all.

After a month of experimenting, I saw completely different numbers. Now my weight is 52.3 kilograms, my waist is 71 centimeters, my buttocks are 89, my chest is 88, and my stomach has decreased by as much as 9 centimeters! I'm almost closer to my “ideal weight”! I was also amazed that just two weeks after I started, “cubes” began to appear on my abs.


My diet: before and after

There are, of course, difficulties: for example, for the first month I thought about food all the time, and about completely unhealthy food - about hamburgers and cakes. I did not experience physical hunger, it was rather psychological hunger. I went to bed thinking about food and woke up thinking about it. Sometimes, of course, I couldn’t restrain myself and ate some cookies or a small piece of cake at work.

An interesting discovery: I realized that you can simply smell delicious food and already enjoy it. Although, of course, this is complacency. There were times when I completely broke down after attending a birthday party somewhere, but the trainers of the program calmed me down and supported me, offering to make the next day a fasting day.

To be honest, I’m actually not a fan of buckwheat porridge and vegetables; I’d like a good steak or pizza. I recently submitted my report for a month of participation in this program and wrote that I constantly think about food and that I always want sweets. To this I received the answer that you need to eat complex carbohydrates, that it is important to love them (this is just about buckwheat, black rice and vegetables), they are the ones who give you a feeling of fullness and eliminate the desire to eat sweets. The curators told me that if I don’t reconsider my attitude towards carbohydrates, then all my weight loss is a road to nowhere. So here I sit and rewatch it.

In any case, I want to hold out for all 90 days, to see the matter through to the end, although even now my results are already making me happy. I promise to tell you after a while how the remaining period of my diet will go, as well as what results I will be able to achieve.
