Three types of metabolism - how to lose weight and how to get rid of acne knowing your type

The problem of excess weight is receiving so much attention now more than ever.

This is generally understandable; most people look much better without excess weight, both from a beauty and health point of view.

Only a small percentage of people succeed in losing weight easily; for the rest, it happens after putting in a lot of effort. And most often, the ease and speed of weight loss depends on metabolism - metabolism.

I liked the grain-free diet proposed by the American doctor Joseph Mercola in accordance with metabolic types, which helps solve not only the problem of excess weight, but also make the skin clear, removing the causes of acne.

There are three types of metabolism:

  • protein (protein) metabolism;
  • carbohydrate type of metabolism;
  • mixed type of metabolism.

For each of the three categories, Mercola recommends a diet that will make it easier to cope with excess weight.

Protein or protein metabolism

For those who belong to this type, a diet low in carbohydrates is suitable (let me remind you that most of them are found in flour products, sweets, cereals, sweet fruits), but high in proteins and fats (relatively speaking, these are dairy products, meat , offal and fish).

The best ratio for the protein type would be: 50% proteins, 30% fats and 20% carbohydrates.

The numbers may vary slightly depending on your personal energy needs.

At the same time, the restriction of sweets and especially grains for “protein types” should be constant; during the diet they are completely excluded, after - in small quantities.

I am a protein type, and I fully confirm this theory - if I exclude pancakes from the menu, I lose weight easily and quickly, but how I like all these pancakes...
