Recipe for cottage cheese oatmeal casserole with apple. Calorie, chemical composition and nutritional value.

Cottage cheese casserole with oatmeal is a fairly simple and tasty dish that can be an excellent breakfast and even a light dinner if you make it from low-fat cottage cheese and replace sugar with honey. This dish can also be prepared as a sweet dish, as a dessert, by adding fruits, raisins, cinnamon, and candied fruits. Or make it without sugar with herbs, spices, and oat bran.

In fact, you can prepare such a tasty and healthy dish even from leftover porridge by simply adding cottage cheese, an egg and other ingredients to it. There is no need to use flour. But the consistency of oatmeal is very important. It should be very dense so that the casserole does not fall apart and is not too liquid. So, let's look at popular and delicious recipes for oatmeal and cottage cheese casserole.

Tips for making cottage cheese casserole

It is important to prepare oatmeal casserole with cottage cheese correctly; little secrets will help with this. The fat content of the cottage cheese taken for the recipe is important: low-fat cottage cheese can be used for people on a diet, and medium-fat cottage cheese can be used for the classic version. To maintain the shape and texture of the finished product, you can add semolina instead of flour. It is important to let the dough sit for a while so that the flour swells.

It is better to grease the baking dish with oil, and immediately heat the oven to the desired temperature so that the baked goods are well baked. A few minutes before the end of baking, you can sprinkle the dessert with sugar and oatmeal to form a caramel crust. To make the cottage cheese casserole with oatmeal tasty and proper, you should follow the step-by-step recipe for cooking in the oven.

Step-by-step recipe for cottage cheese casserole with oatmeal

Step 1:

Pour warm milk over oatmeal. Leave for fifteen minutes for the cereal to swell.

Step 2:

Dark raisins give more sweetness, so this variety is suitable for baking. Remove the tails from the raisins and pour hot water over them for a few minutes. Then drain the water and place the raisins on a towel to remove excess moisture.

Step 3:

Pour cottage cheese into a deep cup, add a raw egg and stir thoroughly with a fork or whisk until smooth.

Step 4:

Transfer the oatmeal and milk to the cottage cheese, add sugar and mix everything. You can add a little vanilla sugar or cinnamon to taste.

Step 5:

Pour dried raisins into the curd dough and mix thoroughly with a spoon.

Step 6:

Grease the inside of a heat-resistant pan with butter. Transfer the casserole batter and use a spatula to smooth the top. Press the raisins that are on top inward so they don’t burn.

Step 7:

Preheat the oven to 170-180 degrees and place the casserole dish for half an hour. 5 minutes before ready, brush the top with honey and cook until the end of time.

When the casserole has cooled slightly, cut into portions and serve with tea.

Fluffy cottage cheese casserole

Delicious cottage cheese casserole, just like in kindergarten!

You will need:
500 g of cottage cheese, 2 eggs, 2 tbsp.
flour, 1 tsp. baking powder, a pinch of salt, vanillin on the tip of a knife, butter for greasing the pan. Preparation:

Beat eggs with salt and sugar, add cottage cheese, flour, baking powder and vanillin. Mix well, pour into a greased mold and place in a preheated oven for half an hour.

Casserole recipe:

Grind the cottage cheese with the yolks (I did this with an immersion blender so that not a lump remained), the result is a soft airy mass. Added semolina, raisins and nuts.

I decided to boil the apples. I peeled it and simmered it for a short time, a couple of minutes, in sweet water with the juice of half a lemon.

Beat the egg whites until stiff foam. Gently fold the whites into the mixture with raisins and nuts, trying to keep the bubbles. This is problematic to do due to the density of the curd mass, but it is possible. Place part of the curd mass into a greased form, then a layer of poached apples, cover with the rest of the curd mass. Place in the oven, preheated to 170-180 C for about an hour.

While the casserole is baking, prepare the tangerine dessert. After the apples, I had 150 grams of sweet, acidified broth left. I brought it up to 200 g, added sugar and cinnamon. I took two tangerines into slices and boiled them for 10 minutes. I fished out the slices.

The syrup did not completely cover the whole tangerines, so I simmered the tangerines first on one side for 8-10 minutes, then on the other. Boil the syrup until thick.

Meanwhile, the casserole has risen and is well baked. Naturally, after cooling it will fall off. Serve both casserole and dessert chilled.

I’ll say right away that tangerines boiled in syrup do not change their taste, but the syrup turns out very tasty and has an amazing smell of cinnamon. It looks very festive. And yes, the recipe calls for using a cinnamon stick, but I didn’t have one, and it’s not cheap, I got by with regular cinnamon.

Option 11: Dietary cottage cheese and oatmeal casserole in a slow cooker

The last recipe is dedicated to a dietary casserole, where we will replace sugar with honey, and instead of whole eggs we will use only whites. In addition, we will transfer the culinary process from the oven to a modern multicooker.

Ingredients

:

  • 525 grams of low-fat cottage cheese;
  • three dessert spoons of liquid honey;
  • 85 grams of oatmeal;
  • 110 grams of natural yogurt;
  • four egg whites;
  • vanillin optional;
  • butter for the bowl.

Step by step recipe

Heat natural yogurt without additives or sugar in the microwave for a few seconds.

Place the cereal in a medium bowl. Pour over warm yoghurt. Leave aside.

Beat the whites with a mixer. Having received a not very fluffy, but relatively strong lightened mass, combine with cottage cheese.

Continue stirring. Pour in liquid honey when the egg whites and cottage cheese are well mixed.

Also sprinkle with vanilla and stir in the cereal with yogurt. Knead into a sticky dough.

Grease the multicooker bowl, wiped dry, with a small amount of oil. Place the thick mass.

Snap the lid. Having set the “Baking” mode, cook the dessert for the planned 40 minutes.

After turning off the machine, carefully remove the curd and oatmeal casserole. Garnish with low-fat sour cream or honey and serve with green tea for breakfast or lunch.

Before removing the baked goods from the bowl, it is advisable to cool it by opening the lid. Then it is important to pry the casserole from all sides with a spatula and transfer it to a flat dish. In this case, everything must be done carefully so as not to damage the structure of the pie.

Today we will prepare a dietary cottage cheese and apple casserole in a slow cooker with oatmeal. The dish can be classified as “Proper Nutrition”, since it does not contain butter, wheat flour or sugar. But it contains an abundance of everyone’s favorite low-calorie cottage cheese. This is a product that, in addition to calcium, provides the body with many vitamins. For example, vitamin A, which is necessary for our eyes, vitamin D, which helps the normal growth and functioning of bones and joints, phosphorus, which is beneficial for teeth, bones and nails, and, of course, iron, which increases hemoglobin.

Cottage cheese is recommended for regular consumption by children, adults, the elderly and, especially, pregnant women. If you like to indulge in tea or a cup of coffee while snacking on something sweet, then this cottage cheese casserole with apples, prepared in a slow cooker, is for you.

This cottage cheese casserole can be called a dessert, since the sweetener adds sweetness, and the apple adds pleasant sourness. The pieces turn out very tender and airy. You can top the casserole with your favorite sauce. I prefer to add the juice of one lemon wedge and consume it while still warm. Cottage cheese and apple casserole will provide you and your family with pleasant company on a winter evening. In addition, it is very easy and quick to prepare, and only from healthy ingredients.

Option 3. With pumpkin

To prepare, take 200 grams of pumpkin (the remaining ingredients are in the same quantities as in the classic recipe). Peel and cut the pumpkin into cubes. To preserve its beneficial properties, it is recommended to steam the pumpkin and then beat it in a blender to make the product more airy. But you can simplify the recipe and just grate it on a fine grater. Add pumpkin to the curd dough, and then cook as in the classic recipe. After the pumpkin casserole becomes golden brown, sprinkle it with powdered sugar and you can serve it.

Selection of ingredients

To prepare the dough, you can use cottage cheese of any fat content, it all depends on your preferences. Oatmeal casserole with low-fat cottage cheese is more suitable for diets and sports nutrition.

Oatmeal for cottage cheese casserole is ordinary Hercules flakes, which must be boiled. They are good because they do not get soggy too quickly and contain many useful substances, since they are prepared from oatmeal. Instant cereal that is poured with boiling water is not suitable for making casseroles.

Before preparing the dish, it is advisable to pour warm milk over the cereal for 10-15 minutes so that it becomes soft and swollen.

You can also prepare cottage cheese casserole with oatmeal. Simply grind the flakes in a coffee grinder or mortar until it becomes flour. This mixture can be added to the dough without additional preparation at the kneading stage. Thanks to this flour, the consistency of the casserole will be denser.

As for sugar, you can use regular cane sugar, brown sugar, and liquid honey.
