Today, a lot has been written about such a breathing system that is already known and loved by many. I became acquainted with Bodyflex and the activities of Marina Korpan about two years ago. I don’t want to write about Bodyflex as a miraculous way to lose weight; many have already understood this and use these techniques with pleasure and benefit for themselves every day.
I want to write specifically about the healing effect of Bodyflex. I decided to touch upon quite intimate, and perhaps uncomfortable for some, but still very important topics for any woman.
A little bit about yourself. I'm already 30 years old. I am not overweight, I gain a little extra in winter and lose weight by summer. I am a smoker with ten years of experience. I lead a normal lifestyle, I have never been involved in sports at all, if you do not take into account physical education lessons at school and while studying at the university. I don’t abuse alcohol. I try to eat simply, I don’t indulge in fast food, I watch the amount of sugar I consume. I don’t like active sports, jumping around, dancing is not for me.
To be honest, I don’t remember where I first saw information about this technique)) I was looking for simple exercises for general strengthening of muscles and tone. Like many, I read, watched, studied, and decided to try Bodyflex. I have been working out consciously and regularly for a year and a half, there are short breaks, but the body must rest.
Now I can say that Bodyflex is the best option. Especially for people like me, who don’t like fast energetic activities, who don’t want to constantly monitor their pulse, restore their breathing, sweat and blush, but want to put themselves in order, tighten their body muscles a little, correct their posture, and increase their self-esteem.
What happened to my body and organism after several months of regular exercise:
- Posture improves, and significantly. I think this is because almost all exercises require you to keep your back straight. A straight back significantly affects the correct execution technique. And I just got used to walking with a straight back, that’s all)
- Digestion improves. Bodyflex will help those who have problems with constipation and gas formation. (Many of my friends said that their stomach began to function much better; those who took various pills to improve digestion, took laxatives or other drugs, eventually gave up on them)
- Headaches go away; when I have a headache, I can simply breathe using the Bodyflex technique and believe me, it becomes much easier.
- Menstrual pain has become weaker, sometimes it simply doesn’t exist. I noticed that when I exercise conscientiously and regularly, my periods go much easier. This is very important for me; I used to take quite a strong painkiller.

- Immunity. I don't know what a cold is. I forgot when I had a runny nose.

- A muscle corset appeared. Personally, my back has become hard, especially the lumbar region, you can even feel the muscles. The spine is, as it were, surrounded by muscles. Also my stomach doesn't stick out when I sit. Many people complain about this problem, and the vacuum trains the transverse muscle very well, which is what supports our organs.
- Rejuvenating effect. When breathing, the facial muscles are very actively involved in the process, constantly active. We create different grimaces on our faces. This kind of “face building”
Marina Korpan herself says that Bodyflex is, first of all, health, and losing weight is a good “side effect.” So, speaking about this effect, I didn’t measure myself, didn’t weigh myself, I just worked out, but at some point I I discovered that I have visible abs. Then spring came, I put on jeans and noticed that they fit differently, no, they didn’t become too big for me, they just fit differently, during the classes, my hips and legs took shape, a beautiful silhouette was formed. I also want to say that now I started using dumbbells and special Velcro weights; I wanted to get a little relief on my arms and shoulders. I know that good visible relief can only be achieved in the gym, but what training using the Bodyflex technique can give me is quite enough for me.
Someone tried this breathing technique and abandoned it because they couldn’t hold their breath for 8-10 seconds. From my personal experience, I can advise you to choose those exercises that need to be performed while lying down, because it’s much easier to hold your breath in a lying position. when we lie down, it is easier for us not to breathe than to breathe. With regular training, you will calmly hold your breath for the required time, and the choice of exercises will be wider.
Do not pull the muscles, although these exercises are aimed at stretching the muscles, you should not overstrain them, you should not try to perform the exercises at the level of a trainer, do as best you can, gradually your ligaments and muscles will become more elastic and you will be able to perform all the exercises without difficulty.
Hold your breath in the starting position and inhale only when you return to the starting position. This is one of the rules for following the execution technique; I know many people neglect it.
Bodyflex cannot do any harm if you approach this technique wisely and do not ignore contraindications. You will not lose more weight with Bodyflex than your body allows, so I advise thin girls to do this gymnastics, because as I described above, training helps solve other problems.
