Secrets of making juices in a juicer

When preparing natural juices yourself, you should remember several basic and important rules:

  • Freshly squeezed juice should not be drunk on an empty stomach, even if you are confident in the strength and health of your own stomach, it is better not to do this. The thing is that fresh is a concentrate (extract) from any product.

Many fruits are highly acidic and, as a result, can cause negative stomach reactions. This can manifest itself in the form of pain in the middle and lower abdomen, heartburn, unpleasant taste in the mouth and other consequences. To drink natural juice on an empty stomach, you should first dilute it with boiled water so that it makes up 1/3 of the drink.

  • It is necessary to take into account the characteristics of the product and its effect on the body. For example, beets have a large number of active substances, so you cannot drink freshly squeezed juice from them. It is better to leave the drink in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours, then dilute it with boiled water and only then drink it.

Some freshly squeezed juices cannot be consumed by all people, this applies to the following fresh juices:

  1. apple – can cause severe allergic reactions in people with allergies to pollen from spring trees;
  2. tomato - can provoke the occurrence of cystitis in women who suffer from kidney stones;
  3. pomegranate – with excessive and frequent consumption of this juice, the color of the teeth may change and acquire a brown tint, so it is better to drink this fresh juice through a straw;
  4. grapefruit – blocks the effects of some medications, therefore its use is not recommended at the time of treatment.

  1. Don't know how to seal birch sap with lemon
  2. First, you should carefully process the fresh drink.
  3. To do this, you need to strain it through thick gauze or a fine strainer, and then pour it into an enamel pan.
  4. Next, pour granulated sugar into the same bowl, add 5-6 slices of lemon with peel and a couple of flavored candies.
  5. After this, the pan should be placed on low heat.
  6. It is not recommended to boil the drink.
  7. It just needs to be slightly heated so that all the added components are completely dissolved.
  8. After the first bubbles begin to rise from the bottom of the hot dish, birch sap can be safely poured into jars.
  9. To do this, you need to take a three-liter glass container and sterilize it over hot steam.
  10. Next, you need to place a sieve on the neck of the jar and pour in the hot drink.
  11. Finally, the filled container should be rolled up with a lid.
  12. The finished canned product needs to be turned upside down, wrapped well in a blanket or blanket and left to cool for about a day.
  13. After the specified time, the birch sap should be placed in the refrigerator or any other place where the air temperature does not exceed 5 degrees.
  14. Now you know how to seal birch sap with lemon for the winter.
  15. However, it should be noted that such a drink can be preserved not only using fresh citrus fruits and mint.
  16. After all, some lovers of this juice prefer to consume it in effervescent form.
  17. To do this, it is recommended to add yeast to a fresh drink and keep it warm for some time.
  18. Although, instead of such an additional ingredient, some cooks also use dried fruits.

Peach and thyme lemonade

By following simple steps, you can prepare juice, which you can then use for any purpose. How to make lemon juice?

First, find the right extrusion tool. You can do this by hand using a citrus juicer or a food processor with a juicer function.

Cut the lemons in half. Squeeze the juice out of them into a bowl or cup. Make sure you get everything from each half. Add some sugar and water. Fresh lemon juice is ready, you can start preparing drinks based on it.

The drink is suitable for drinking in its pure form. You can make lemonade using it. The lemon juice recipe is simple. Pour freshly squeezed juice into a cup or glass, add half a spoonful of tea sugar, stir until dissolved. That's it, the drink is ready. If desired, add a little water to reduce the acidity.

In addition, you can prepare orange-lemon fresh juice. Everyone will appreciate natural juice with the addition of a small amount of sugar. For it you need:

  • 3-4 regular size oranges;
  • half a lemon;
  • 2-3 tbsp. l. sugar (to your taste).

Peel the oranges and add the pulp to a blender. Alternatively, you can use a manual juicer to ensure the drink is immediately free of film or seeds. Strain the resulting puree through a sieve or mesh to remove any solid fibers. Squeeze the required amount of juice from the lemon and add sugar. Cool and add ice cubes before serving.

Do not make the drink in advance - maximum 30 minutes before serving. Add ice cubes just before serving, otherwise the juice will become too diluted. Adjust the proportion of orange and lemon to your taste.

There are several cooking methods.

Method one. Take 1-2 lemons, wash in warm water, dry. Cut each in half, across the cut. To prepare juice, it is better to use a mechanical press for citrus fruits and pomegranates, which is a vertical mechanism with a special cone in the middle part and technological holes, on which half of the fruit is placed.

The advantages of this press are that the device is almost effortlessly activated by a special lever, pressing from top to bottom, and the juice is squeezed out completely without any residue into a special glass under the press. The mechanism is convenient and, most importantly, reliable. All the seeds and veins are well strained out without getting into the glass of juice. The juice is ready to drink.

Method two. Wash the lemons and cut them in half across the cut. Squeeze in an electric citrus juicer. Despite the compactness of this model, it has many disadvantages. For example, the fruit needs to be pressed with your hand. And this, firstly, is not safe, because... you can get injured. Secondly, it is not economical, because due to weak pressure, up to 30% of the valuable drink is lost.

Method three. Wash 1-2 lemons, dry them, peel them (you don’t have to peel them if you wish), cut them into several pieces,

put it in a standard electric juicer and turn on the start. In a few seconds the juice is ready. The disadvantages of this method: it is not economical, there is a lot of waste, too much energy consumption, and time spent on washing spare parts.

How can you make this unique and healthy drink also enjoyable?

Of course, I agree with you that drinking lemon juice in its pure form requires being a real extreme sports enthusiast. And no one advises you to do this. To drink lemon juice, you need to dilute it with chilled boiled water in a ratio of 1:3. A single dose of the drink should not exceed 50 ml based on 100% product.

And the daily norm is considered unlimited, unless of course there are contraindications, i.e. individual intolerance to the product. But it is best to use a mixture of juices, for example, fresh carrot-lemon, apple-lemon, beetroot-lemon, banana-lemon, orange-lemon, apricot-lemon.

Moreover, the concentration of lemon juice should be at least two to three times lower than the main freshly squeezed juice. And the sweeter the juice that makes up the base, the more pleasant the taste combination with the lemon drink.

The calorie content of fresh lemon juice is 17 Kcal per 100 g of product.

Nutritional value: carbohydrates – 3.5 g; proteins – 0.33; fat – 0 g.

The glycemic index is very low - 10, so fresh lemon juice is not contraindicated for diabetes and pregnancy. The use of lemon juice is widespread in the cosmetics industry to whiten facial skin, remove freckles, age spots and rejuvenate the skin. Lemon juice is also used to soften and heal cracks in the skin and, as a bath, to reduce brittleness of nails. Lemon juice is added to hair care products.

We can talk a lot more about the benefits of lemon, but all this will be meaningless if you do not start eating it daily in recommended doses. Be beautiful and most importantly healthy!

  23. Be it cooking, health or beauty.
  24.
