Diets
For the purpose of weight loss, “Metelka” can be used as a fasting day menu or as the basis of a dietary diet. In any case, there are several mandatory general rules regarding how to properly take the “Brush” salad for weight loss, regardless of the chosen diet option:
- vegetables or fruits must be fresh and preferably home-grown (environmentally friendly);
- it is most useful to combine the “Broom” with protein foods - meat, fish, eggs;
- you need to have dinner at least 4 hours before bedtime;
- the volume of liquid drunk per day should be on average 2 liters, but the exact amount is determined at the rate of 30 ml per 1 kg of body weight;
- Alcohol, sweets, flour products should be completely excluded from the menu, and salt consumption should be minimized;
- Although most methods usually do not limit the amount of cutting, as a rule, 1.5 kg of products, divided into 5 equal portions, is enough for 1 day.
To get the maximum benefit from the diet, you must follow all the recommendations below for each dietary program regarding how to properly prepare the “Brush” salad for weight loss, how to consume it and what is best to combine such a dish with.
Express diet
The strictest and shortest diet is designed for 3 days and allows you to lose up to 3 extra pounds. During this period, you can eat mainly the vegetable version of “Brush”, supplementing the diet with one of the permitted products, fermented milk products and fruits (it is better to take apples and citrus fruits). The daily amount of a main dish is 1.5 kg, an additional one – 0.5 kg.
The scheme for express weight loss using the “Brush” salad depends on your goals:
- if during this period you need to lose maximum weight, then the diet should be supplemented only with protein foods;
- if you want to cleanse your intestines and lose a little weight, you can add stewed vegetables, cottage cheese and fruits to the menu.
In any diet, you must drink a lot of water and green tea. This will make the weight loss process as fast and safe as possible.
The menu for each of the three days includes 5 techniques of “Metelka”:
- 3 main ones, to which additional products are added;
- plus 2 independent snacks.
An approximate scheme for introducing additional products into main meals may be as follows:
First day:
- breakfast - boiled chicken breast;
- lunch - vegetable celery soup with carrots, onions, cauliflower and herbs;
- dinner - 250 ml of kefir.
Second:
- breakfast - smoothie of 1 apple and 1 orange;
- lunch - boiled fish;
- dinner - 250 ml of yoghurt with bran.
Third:
- breakfast - 2 apples;
- lunch - 1 banana;
- dinner - 2 grapefruits.
To simplify this option for losing weight on the “Brush” salad, it is recommended to chop the vegetables for it in the morning and distribute the resulting volume into 5 servings. You also need to prepare additional dishes in advance, which will free up time during the day.
In a more stringent version of the express diet, it is necessary to exclude the intake of all foods except “Melka” and protein foods. In this case, it is recommended to supplement the salad with boiled chicken breast or white fish - 150–200 g for each meal (but not more than 500 g per day). To avoid negative health consequences, eating only “Brush” without introducing additional dishes is allowed exclusively as a menu for one fasting day.
"Panicle"
The classic version of the Panicle diet lasts 7 days, during which you should also follow a 5-meal diet, but chopped vegetables are combined with additional dishes at each meal. An approximate menu for a week (in addition to 300 g of “Metelka”) could be like this:
Monday:
- breakfast - 1 orange or fresh juice;
- lunch - 1 apple;
- lunch - 200 ml of light vegetable soup;
- afternoon snack - 2 whole grain breads;
- dinner - 2 boiled eggs.
Tuesday:
- breakfast - 200 ml of yogurt;
- lunch - 1 grapefruit;
- lunch - 150 g of boiled turkey or chicken;
- afternoon snack - 30 g bran bread;
- dinner - 1 apple.
Wednesday:
- breakfast - 150 ml of oatmeal with water;
- lunch - 2 whole grain breads;
- lunch - 100 g steamed veal;
- afternoon snack - 1 egg;
- dinner - 1 citrus.
Thursday:
- breakfast - omelet from the whites of 2 eggs;
- lunch - 1 grapefruit;
- lunch - 150 g of boiled hake;
- afternoon snack - 1 apple;
- dinner - 200 ml of yoghurt with bran.
Friday:
- breakfast - 100 g of baked pumpkin;
- lunch – 1 egg;
- lunch - 200 ml of celery soup with meatballs;
- afternoon snack - 50 g of cottage cheese;
- dinner - 1 egg.
Saturday:
- breakfast - 50 g of cottage cheese;
- lunch - 1 large apple;
- lunch - 150 g steamed breast;
- afternoon snack – 1 egg;
- dinner – 250 ml of kefir.
Sunday:
- breakfast – 250 ml of yogurt;
- lunch – 1 orange;
- lunch - 150 g of steamed pollock;
- afternoon snack - 30 g whole grain bread;
- dinner – 50 g of cottage cheese.
If such a menu is too strict, you can eat sliced meat only for dinner, and during the day eat as usual, but better with healthy food. With this version of the diet, you can lose 2-3 kg of excess weight in a week.
Elena Malysheva
One of the varieties of the “Brush” salad diet for weight loss was developed by a team of nutritionists led by Elena Malysheva. This technique is quite gentle and allows you to lose up to 5 kg in the 10 days for which it is designed.
The principle of nutrition is to alternate carbohydrate and protein days. In this case, each of the diets is compiled as follows:
- on carbohydrate days you can only eat fruit or vegetable “Pastel” (1–1.5 kg);
- The protein day menu should consist of 750 g of boiled chicken, 2 boiled eggs and greens.
This diet is relatively poor because it lacks many important foods for humans. Therefore, you can stick to this menu for no longer than 10 days and only for completely healthy people. Since the breakdown of a large amount of protein releases many toxins, during the diet you need to consume at least 2 liters of liquid, which will remove all excess.
Losing weight on the “Brush” salad results in fairly rapid weight loss, so it is extremely important to exit this process correctly in order to maintain the achieved results. It is well known that the main disadvantage of express diets is the high probability of regaining lost kilograms. To avoid such an effect, the transition to the usual diet should last twice as long as the dietary course itself.
So, after eating the “Brush” salad for 3 days for weight loss, you need to gradually switch to a nutritious diet within a week, adding new healthy foods to the menu every day. It is advisable to exclude sweets and other sources of “empty calories” - they can be added only after the end of the week, and in the first half of the day and in limited quantities. It is also impossible to reduce physical activity, or even better, to gradually increase it along with an increase in the calorie content of the daily diet in order to maintain a calorie deficit.

The alternation of carbohydrate and protein days remains the same, only some changes are made to the diet:
- complex carbohydrates are gradually introduced into the protein menu; I started with oatmeal for breakfast, vegetables for lunch and fruits as snacks;
- on carbohydrate days, proteins are slowly added - fermented milk products for breakfast and dinner, a little boiled breast or fish for lunch.

The most common ways to use the Panicle salad are:
- Fasting day, during which you need to eat up to 1 kg of food and nothing more. On such days you are allowed to drink water and unsweetened green tea in unlimited quantities.
- Three-day mono-diet with the same menu as on the fasting day. At the same time, you can prepare the salad according to different recipes to diversify the menu.
- Follow a balanced healthy diet for a week, during which you need to have dinner with this salad. After the end of the week, it is important to continue to maintain proper nutrition - the process of losing weight will continue to occur.
Recipes
There are several recipes for “Brush” salad, which differ in the set of ingredients and the composition of the dressing. Therefore, if for some reason beets or cabbage are not suitable, you should choose the option with celery or assorted fruits. To make your diet more varied, you can alternate recipes.
Classical
Initially, there was one recipe for “Brush” salad for weight loss, which included completely simple ingredients that are present in every kitchen - beets, carrots and raw cabbage. Over time, other options appeared, but the first classic recipe is considered the most common and most useful. This dish has a bright taste, saturates well and has a lot of useful properties.
Important! You shouldn’t give up refueling to reduce calories. Vegetable oil promotes better absorption of vegetables, significantly increases the taste and nutritional value of the salad.
You should not salt the cuts. It is better to use lemon or lime juice and spices - basil, thyme, ground pepper, nutmeg, etc. To obtain 1.5 kg of salad you will need 500 g of each vegetable and 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil and lemon (lime) juice. Spices are added to taste.
Before preparing the Panicle, you need to chop the ingredients into strips (shred the cabbage, grate the beets and carrots). Then mix in an enamel or glass container, season, transfer to a container with a lid and refrigerate.
Celery
This variation of the recipe uses fresh cucumbers and celery stalks in equal proportions, as well as dill, parsley, arugula and celery to taste. The principles of preparing and dressing this salad are the same as the classic “Metelka”.
Celery has a powerful cleansing effect, normalizes intestinal activity and at the same time has a fresh, spicy aroma that gives the salad a special charm. It is recommended to consume the prepared slices immediately, then it retains all the vitamins and delicate taste. Fruit
Using the fruity version of “Metelka” is ideal for those who find it difficult to live without sweets. This option also consists of three main components - kiwi, oranges and apples, taken in equal quantities.
To obtain the daily intake of assorted fruit weighing 1.5 kg, you need to take 0.5 kg of each fruit, cut them into cubes, add 2 tbsp. l. raw oatmeal and 1 tbsp. l. honey and lemon juice. The mixture should be prepared in enamel or glass containers so that the fruit pieces do not darken. Also, for this purpose, during the cutting process, you need to immediately add lemon juice.
Contraindications
The “Brush” salad diet for weight loss is quite strict and low-calorie, and some components of the main dish can have a very strong effect on the body. Therefore, this technique has a number of contraindications, which include the following conditions:
- gastrointestinal diseases (tendency to gas, indigestion, stomach pain, gastritis);
- diabetes, pancreatitis, other disorders of the pancreas;
- renal failure, urolithiasis;
- infectious diseases;

- antibiotic treatment;
- pregnancy, breastfeeding;
- old age (after 65 years).
Also, eating “Brush” salad for weight loss is contraindicated if you have an intolerance to vegetables or fruits that are cut components.
