If you are looking for not only healthy, but also tasty low-calorie dishes, then the recipe for making a diet pie with cabbage will be very useful for you. Light, original and very appetizing.
Delicious, simple and low calorie
Cabbage itself, in any form, is a healthy, dietary product, rich in fiber, vitamins and minerals.
The high calorie content of traditional cabbage baked goods is determined by white flour, large amounts of eggs, sugar, animal and vegetable fats.
To ensure that your favorite pies not only delight your taste buds, but also do not harm your figure, you can make adjustments to regular recipes that comply with the principles of proper nutrition.
This will not affect the taste in any way, but will only increase the benefits of the finished dish.
Recipe for a slow cooker with fresh cabbage
Let this recipe be the first, I love this - everything is as simple as possible, fast and very tasty. Flour for the dough can be any whole grain. In this case, it is a mixture of corn and oatmeal.
Ryazhenka is also easy to replace with any fermented milk product.
You will need:
- Ryazhenka (yogurt/thick yoghurt) – 400 g
- eggs – 2 pcs.
- oat flour – 100 g
- corn flour – 50 g
- cabbage – 250 g
- salt - to taste
- soda – 0.5 tsp.
- lemon juice (apple cider vinegar) – 1 tsp.
Preparation:
Place the fermented baked milk in a deep bowl.
Add eggs and add a little salt.
Add oatmeal.
Add cornmeal.
Mix everything well and pour soda slaked with lemon juice or apple cider vinegar into the dough. You can replace everything with baking powder (1 tsp).
Add cabbage (sauerkraut or fresh, previously scalded with boiling water) directly into the dough.
Pour the dough into the multicooker bowl and select the baking mode (cooking time - 1 hour). After the signal, immediately open the lid.
Let the finished pie cool completely and only then remove it from the bowl, as it is very tender and difficult to remove when hot.
Jellied pie “quick and easy”
It is called jellied because before baking the prepared filling is filled with a fairly liquid dough.
This pie is suitable for people on a hypoallergenic diet, as it is prepared without eggs .
Ingredients:
Dough:
- whole grain or oat flour – 300 g
- kefir 0% - 1.5 tbsp.
- soda - 0.5 teaspoon (can be replaced with baking powder).
Filling:
- cabbage – 400 g
- one large carrot
- 1 tsp olive oil
- herbs, spices, salt to taste.
How to cook:
- First let's make the filling. Finely chop the cabbage and grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Simmer the vegetables for 10-15 minutes with a little olive oil and water. At the end, add salt, spices and finely chopped herbs. Leave to cool.
- Add soda to kefir and leave to simmer for 10 minutes. Add all the flour and mix with a mixer. If baking powder is used instead of soda, it is added to the flour.
- Place all the cabbage in a mold (preferably silicone or non-stick coated). Pour in the dough, shaking slightly so that everything is evenly distributed.
- Bake the diet cabbage pie in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
Recipe with sauerkraut and minced meat
The dough for this cabbage pie is also liquid, as in the previous recipe, but with eggs.
We’ll also make a ruddy, delicious top.
This recipe is very satisfying, perfect for lunch!
Can be supplemented with a glass of homemade tomato juice or chicken broth.
We will need:
for test:
- whole grain flour – 300 g
- kefir 0% - 1 tbsp.
- chicken egg – 1 pc.
- soda - 0.5 tsp.
- salt - to taste
- sesame - 1 tbsp. for sprinkling.
For filling:
- sauerkraut – 500 g
- minced chicken (from breast or lean meat without skin) – 200 g
- 1 large onion
- salt, spices, herbs - to taste.
Step-by-step preparation:
- It is better to make minced chicken yourself by passing the breast through a meat grinder or grinding it in a blender. You can simply chop it with a knife, like chopped chicken cutlets. Heat it, stirring, in a non-stick frying pan with the addition of salt and spices. Cumin, curry, and garlic powder go well with chicken.
- Separately saute the onion, cut into half rings. As soon as it becomes soft, add sauerkraut and simmer until the juice has completely evaporated. Mix all filling ingredients. If the cabbage is very sour (salty), rinse under running cold water.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. During this time, add an egg to the kefir (immediately put half of the yolk separately in a cup), flour, salt, baking powder and mix well. The amount of flour may vary, but the consistency of the dough should be like very thick sour cream.
- Into a mold (remember, ideally silicone or AP coated), pour half of the dough, completely cover it with the filling. Pour the remaining dough on top and smooth it out. Lightly beat the remaining yolk with 2 tbsp. ordinary water. Brush the top of the pie with this mixture to create a delicious crust. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Place the pie with cabbage and minced chicken to bake for 40 minutes at 180 degrees.

How to prepare the “dietary cabbage pie” dish
Salt - 1/2 tsp, sunflower oil 1 tbsp for greasing the mold.
Let's start with the filling, because the dough cooks very quickly.
For this pie, you don’t even have to cook the cabbage, but put it fresh, but, in my opinion, it will be much tastier if you stew it with onions and carrots. You don’t have to stew it, but boil it. Add grated carrots. Finely chop the cabbage and put it in a frying pan to simmer until fully cooked.
At the end, add salt and your favorite spices (black pepper, coriander, bay leaf).
The filling is ready. Add soda to the kefir and mix (bubbles should appear). If kefir is not sour enough, then you should add another 1 tbsp. vinegar or a pinch of citric acid. Add egg, sugar, salt to kefir and mix until smooth. Then gradually add flour and knead a liquid, homogeneous dough.
The dough is ready. Grease the baking pan with oil. Then lay out the cabbage. And another layer of dough.
Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake the pie for about 30 minutes. 10 minutes before it’s ready, brush the pie with sunflower oil to make a beautiful crust. We wait until the cabbage pie cools down a little and then cut it into pieces. Bon appetit!

The secrets of delicious dietary charlotte with cabbage
- It is better to take early or Beijing cabbage for pp-charlotte. They are softer and more suitable for jellied pie. Handle the cabbage a little so that it releases its juice.
- The dough for cabbage charlotte with kefir should have a consistency similar to sour cream. The amount of flour and ground flakes may need to be increased or decreased. It all depends on the thickness of kefir.
- Kefir (namely kefir, not a kefir product!) is better to use fresh. The dough on it turns out more fluffy.
- Products for the dough must be removed from the refrigerator before cooking. Eggs and fermented milk products should be at room temperature.
- We check the readiness of the pie the old fashioned way - with a toothpick. If the toothpick is dry, it's time to remove the baked goods from the oven. In a multicooker, you can slightly increase the cooking mode.
- Try to vary the flavor of the filling by adding other vegetables or cheese (with a low fat content).
Cabbage charlotte with kefir, the recipe of which you will tell your friends who are PP-ers, will become their favorite dish, believe me!

- flour - 6 heaped tablespoons;
- baking soda - 1 teaspoon;

Technological process
First, prepare the filling for the diet pie with cabbage. Finely chop the vegetable, but so that the cabbage strips are not too long. Mash it with your hands or a wooden masher to make mashed potatoes. After this, the cabbage will release juice and slightly reduce its volume. Let's salt it and pepper it to taste. Add other spices if necessary.
Boil the milk and pour it into the cabbage. Mix quickly. Beat eggs and a pinch of salt. Pour yogurt and soda into them. Mix all ingredients with flour. Place the filling of the diet pie with cabbage into the resulting batter and mix the composition again.
Grease the mold with vegetable oil. Let's fill it with the prepared pie substance. Place in the oven for thirty minutes at 180 degrees.
Cooking technologies
I start the process of creating my favorite diet pie by kneading the dough. To do this, I take a deep bowl and pour kefir into it. To make my baked goods extra tender, I preheat the fermented milk product slightly.
In another bowl, I beat the chicken eggs, and then slowly add them to the kefir, gently stirring the mass. Next, I send the sifted flour, salt and baking powder there. At the final stage, I mix the mass so that there are no lumps in it. After this, I let the dough sit for a short time, and I myself begin to prepare the filling.
To make the filling, I take the cabbage and remove the top leaves from it. Next, I chop it finely (when I’m lazy, I chop it on a special grater). I put the chopped cabbage in a preheated deep saucepan, and then pour in a small amount of purified water and begin to simmer the mass until half cooked. At the end of cooking the cabbage, I pepper it, salt it, mix it and remove it from the stove.
When all the components of my future pie are ready, I take a baking tray, line it with oiled parchment, and then pour out half of the dough. I lay the cabbage on top of it and cover it all with the rest of the dough, distributing it evenly over the entire surface. To give the pie a special taste, you can brush it with egg yolk and then sprinkle with sesame seeds.
I put the filled baking sheet in the oven for half an hour. The optimal temperature for baking is 180-200 degrees.

Diet pie with cabbage and kefir
Kefir is good in dietary baking. It is better to take a fermented milk product with a reduced fat content.
- one and a half glasses of kefir;
- baking soda - half a teaspoon;
- flour - 300 grams;
- cabbage - 300-400 grams;
- medium carrots - 1 piece;
- salt - to personal taste;
- spices and herbs - optional;
- lean unflavored oil - one teaspoon.
Let's prepare the filling
In this recipe you need to pre-cook the cabbage filling. Chop fresh vegetables, carrots and cabbage. It is more convenient to grate carrots through any grater. Shred the cabbage in the most convenient way for you. Add a little vegetable fat and half a glass of water to the pan. Place the vegetable mixture in the frying pan and simmer under a closed lid at low temperature for five minutes. Mix the future filling for the diet pie with cabbage, salt, and season with spices. Cover again and simmer for another ten minutes. Sometimes we open the pan to prevent the food from burning while stirring it. The filling is ready, be sure to cool it.
Lazy cabbage pie
The dough for this pie is made from the following products:
- a glass of kefir (200 grams);
- a pinch of salt;
- a small spoon of soda;
- 3 small spoons of sugar;
- three eggs;
- 7 tablespoons of flour (take as much as a spoonful, heaped).
For filling:
- cabbage forks weighing about a kilogram;
- parsley, dill, you can add spinach leaves;
- salt to taste;
- butter.
Progress:
- Put the oven to heat up.
- Prepare the filling by chopping the cabbage and simmering it in oil in a frying pan. Add salt. You can limit yourself to this at this stage, but to combine the main component, we recommend adding one raw egg to the cabbage filling. Mix all ingredients for the dough.
- Place half of the dough in a well-greased pan, then place the cabbage on top of the dough. Next, cover the filling with the second part of the dough.
- Place the mold in a hot oven and leave to bake at 180 degrees. Readiness to determine as usual - by sticking a dry toothpick into the pie.
Lay out the pie
This procedure has its own nuances. First of all, you need to prepare a suitable form for the future pie. Give preference to the one that has a special non-stick coating. If for some reason you don’t have such a mold, then the bottom and walls of your regular one should be lined with parchment paper for baking. This will help the finished cabbage pie not to collapse when removing the product.
Despite the fact that the form is non-stick, we will not take any unnecessary risks - we will coat the bottom and walls with vegetable oil.
Now place all the stewed cabbage on the oiled bottom. Level it on top with a regular tablespoon.
Fill the filling with liquid kefir dough. Lightly tap the bottom of the pan against the edge of the cutting surface to spread the dough a little faster.
We preheat the oven to 180 degrees and place the future pie in its depths. After thirty to thirty-five minutes in the oven, the diet cabbage pie is ready to eat. We take it out of the oven, but do not rush to release it from the mold. You need to wait at least ten minutes for the cake to cool and hold together more firmly. Then it can be turned over onto a plate and served.
What can you add to the diet cabbage filling?
You can add products to any filling (including dietary ones) that do not contradict the idea of proper nutrition and reducing calories. Therefore, if you want to add finely chopped chicken meat to the cabbage filling, this option is also perfect. 200 grams of finely chopped chicken breast will add a new flavor to this baked goods.
You can diversify the cabbage filling by adding champignons. Wash the mushrooms (200 grams) first and lightly saute them in a small amount of water with vegetable oil. The aroma of mushrooms and the taste of fresh or stewed cabbage are a good combination.
Eggs are a dietary product, and by adding a couple of boiled eggs to a pie with cabbage, you will not harm your figure, but will greatly please yourself with delicious pastries. Boil them and peel them. Chop and add to any of the above cabbage fillings.
You can also add 150 grams of grated cheese to the cabbage. Just mix the cheese shavings with the general composition of the filling and dough. It will turn out fragrant and unusual.
On kefir with yeast
With kefir you get an excellent fluffy yeast dough. A little more troublesome preparation will be rewarded with an appetizing appearance of the product and the excellent spirit of a real yeast pie. You can prepare the dough either using sponge or using a straight method. The difference is that with the sponge method, the dough is first prepared in a small amount of liquid in water with the addition of flour. With the non-pair method, all components are connected at the same time. But kefir gives ordinary yeast dough even more lightness and airiness.
Here's how to prepare classic yeast dough with kefir.
Required:
- half a kilo of sifted wheat flour;
- 200 g kefir;
- 100 g purified sunflower oil;
- a teaspoon of sugar and salt;
- a small packet of dry yeast;
- cabbage and carrots for preparing the filling.
Sequencing:
- Heat the kefir in a small saucepan until it curdles a little.
- Add vegetable oil to the warm whey and cottage cheese and mix. Add sugar and salt.
- Pour yeast into the sifted flour, mix the dry mixture and add it to the oil-kefir base. Knead the dough. It should not be too steep, otherwise the product will turn out tough.
- Leave the dough in the form of a bun in the bag to rise.
- When the dough has risen, divide it in half.
- Place a rolled out piece of one piece of dough on oiled parchment or baking mat.
- Place cabbage, fried with carrots, on top of the dough.
- Roll out the same piece from the second part and cover the cabbage filling with it. Pinch the edges.
- After half an hour, when the dough in the pie has risen, grease the surface with any mixture to form a beautiful crust when baking. You can moisten it with milk, sugar water, grease with a loose egg.
- Bake with the oven heated to 180 degrees until done, this is about half an hour.
It is no coincidence that the dish was called lazy cabbage pie. Unlike a pie made from yeast dough, it does not need to be kneaded, infused, kneaded, or sculpted in any way in advance. Making yeast pie with cabbage is quick and easy, especially if you know a few secrets.
