Rules for following the Pushinka diet and menu for the week

“Space diet” by Sergei Sivokho: without denying himself anything, the comedian lost 42 kg in 3 months

The “Pushinka” diet was developed by a woman from Russia, wanting to get rid of several dozen extra pounds. The author of the method claims that her nutrition system allowed her to lose 35 kg in 3 months.

It is worth immediately noting that the “Pushinka” diet is strict, refers to a mono-diet and contains only 4 main products - pearl barley porridge, kefir, lean fish and raw cabbage. Before starting a weight loss course, you need to prepare mentally and physically, since the daily calorie content should not exceed 1000 kcal.

At the same time, the “Pushinka” diet has one important rule - you need to make a calendar, marking in it dietary days and days with a regular diet.

General rules

The easy name of the diet speaks for itself. With its help, you can not only get rid of excess weight, but also cleanse the blood, eliminate swelling , normalize intestinal function, and improve the condition of hair, skin and nail plates.
The basis of an affordable and effective diet is pearl barley porridge, which is prepared according to a special recipe. Pearl barley is a derivative product from peeled and polished barley grains. They contain a huge amount of starchy compounds, thanks to which the porridge has a delicate and viscous consistency. In addition, barley grains are rich in fiber, which perfectly cleanses the intestines, normalizing digestion. Thanks to the high content of protein and amino acids , the dish is satisfying, and the microelements and vitamins improve overall well-being, increase tone, strengthen nail plates and hair.

Metabolism accelerated due to phosphorus, copper and iodine. Selenium protects cells from mutations, enhances collagen , and prevents premature aging of the body. Pearl barley porridge is used in therapeutic and dietary nutrition for a reason: its rich content of vitamins and minerals makes it the basis of the diet of patients who suffer from dermatological and neurological diseases. Porridge has an undeniable advantage over others - it does not cause allergic reactions .

The diet is based on pearl barley porridge in combination with vegetables (white cabbage), low-fat varieties of fish and meat, and low-fat fermented milk products. Thanks to the reduced calorie content, slow but sure weight loss occurs. Long-term processing of pearl barley porridge relieves hunger for a long time. The daily menu is designed for 800 kcal, so fat burning occurs very quickly. If you follow all the recommendations, by the end of the second month of dietary nutrition you can say goodbye to almost 20 extra kilograms.

Advantages and disadvantages of the technique

The benefits of the diet are:

  1. Efficiency. The caloric content of the daily diet on the diet is no more than 600 kcal, so weight loss occurs more rapidly than when following standard principles of proper nutrition.
  2. Lack of strong feelings of hunger. Porridge, vegetable salad and other menu components make up 5 complete meals that satiate the body and reduce the risk of diet failure.
  3. Normalization of gastrointestinal function. The abundance of dietary fiber from pearl barley and vegetables cleanses the intestines, and fermented milk products have a mild laxative effect. This allows you to avoid abdominal discomfort, improve skin condition and increase weight loss in the first 5-7 days of the diet.
  4. Easy to prepare. Preparing dietary dishes requires a minimum of effort and time. To reduce the time of direct cooking, you should soak the pearl barley in advance by pouring warm water over it overnight.
  5. Availability of products. The diet does not contain exotic or seasonal products, so this diet can be used for weight loss before summer vacation, winter holidays and any special events at any time of the year. The price of the products is also low: the cost of a weekly package of products is no more than 400 rubles.
  6. A large number of trace elements and other nutrients in the diet. The menu components are rich in dietary fiber, zinc, selenium, magnesium, manganese, calcium, iodine and other beneficial substances.

The disadvantages of the method include:

  1. Monotonous food. Eating the same foods every day and avoiding the use of spices, salt and sugar can increase the likelihood of diet failure. To minimize risks, it is necessary to completely remove prohibited products from reach, which is difficult when working outside the home.
  2. Slowing metabolism. Reducing caloric intake below the metabolic minimum provokes a slowdown in metabolism. As a result, extra pounds that are quickly lost during a diet may return within a few weeks and be eliminated more slowly in the future.
  3. Small amount of proteins. The daily diet contains 33 g of protein (24 g - animal and 9 g - plant), which is only 45-50% of the daily requirement for an adult. Due to the large deficit of calories and protein when following a diet, there is a loss of not only fat, but also muscle mass.
  4. Loss of skin elasticity. Rapid weight loss and a lack of nutrients necessary for healthy skin (vitamins A and E, fats, omega-3 acids) cause a loss of healthy complexion, the appearance of wrinkles and folds, and deterioration of turgor.
  5. The need for strict nutritional control after finishing the diet. To slow down weight gain or maintain the achieved results, you must strictly follow the rules for exiting the diet, and in the future, adhere to the principles of proper nutrition.

Diet results

Those who lost weight using the Pushinka diet lost an average of approximately 20 kg per month. Moreover, the maximum effect is observed in the first week, when you manage to lose up to 1 kg every day.

The video blogger talks about his diet with barley in the morning:

Keep in mind that after returning to a normal diet, you risk returning to your previous weight in excess. Therefore, it is best to exit the diet gradually and be sure to engage in some kind of sports, even at home. Remember, if you feel unwell or have any health problems, you should abandon such a radical method of losing weight.

Authorized Products

On the Pushinka diet, pearl barley porridge should be taken with each meal in a certain volume. It can be used as a single component, or can be combined with other approved products. Low-fat fish and kefir are allowed for consumption. You can consume fermented milk products. Among vegetables, it is better to give preference to white cabbage. For drinks, you can drink herbal tea and plain still water.

Essence and features

The essence of the method is to limit the diet and energy value of food. Patients losing weight are allowed to consume 4 products, combining them with each other during breakfast, lunch and dinner. The main component of the menu is pearl barley porridge.

The diet consists primarily of complex carbohydrates, which ensure long-term satiety and the absence of spikes in the concentration of insulin and glucose in the blood.

Pearl barley is one of the cereals richest in minerals and dietary fiber: 100 g of dry product contains 11% of the daily value of potassium, 20% magnesium, 28% phosphorus, 66% manganese, 69% selenium, 18% zinc, 14% iron and 78% fiber . This allows you to reduce the intensity of stress that the body experiences during a calorie deficit.

Additional fermented milk, fish and vegetable components of the diet partially replenish the daily requirement of proteins, fats and vitamins.

In addition to the specific composition, a feature of the diet is its duration. The recommended duration of compliance with the rules of the method is 3 months. The creator of the diet herself indicates that out of 90 days she adhered to strict rules for only 48 (30 in the first month, 21 in the second and 7 in the third). Nutritionists and gastroenterologists do not recommend sticking to strict diets with a monotonous diet for longer than 5–10 days.

Taking into account the body’s ability to adapt to a decrease in the energy value of food, it will be most effective to alternate weeks of dietary nutrition with weeks of the usual diet with minor restrictions. You can resort to this method only if the diet is well tolerated and under the control of blood counts.

Patients with a small amount of excess weight can use “Pushinka” as an express diet, sticking to it for 7-10 days, no more than once every 1.5-2 months.

Quitting the diet

Correct and competent exit from the diet allows you not only to consolidate the result, but also to form certain eating habits. Follow simple rules:

  • Within a week after completing the diet, one serving of pearl barley porridge can be replaced with any other cereal porridge. To prevent the development of swelling, it is recommended to continue avoiding salt. You can gradually include leafy and green vegetables, sweet bell peppers, celery, tomatoes and cucumbers in your diet.
  • From the second week, you can introduce one serving of fish or meat dishes into your diet, which should be steamed, boiled or grilled without adding salt.

Contraindications to Pushkin's technique

Given the severely limited diet, the diet is not suitable for everyone. First of all, only completely healthy people with enviable willpower can choose it. You cannot resort to this method of losing weight:

· during pregnancy and lactation;

· with serious diseases of the gastrointestinal tract;

· with heart, liver or kidney failure;

· people with allergies to one of the menu components;

· in adolescence or old age;

· during the period of exacerbation of any chronic diseases.

Among the followers of this diet there are people with diabetes who claim that this menu is suitable for high sugar levels. It is strictly forbidden for diabetics to resort to such weight loss methods on their own, even if someone has succeeded. A long-term food refusal program can become dangerous for a healthy person - consult a nutritionist before starting the course.

Advantages and disadvantages

prosMinuses
  • lack of hunger;
  • products are rich in microelements and vitamins;
  • effectiveness;
  • cleansing of toxins and impurities .
  • nutritional imbalance;
  • high risk of failure;
  • severe stress for the body;
  • sagging skin, presence of stretch marks;
  • loss of muscle mass.

Cons of the diet

Several disadvantages of the “Pushinka” diet should be highlighted:

  • The recommended diet is quite meager. When following the “Fluff” diet, the body may lack trace elements and other nutrients.
  • Adhering to strict dietary restrictions is quite difficult. The likelihood of a possible diet failure is quite high.
  • Losing a lot of unwanted pounds in a relatively short period of time is not desirable. Such rapid weight loss is stressful for the body.
  • Due to rapid weight loss, stretch marks may form on the body. During the period of following the “Pushinka” diet, it is recommended to use appropriate cosmetics.
  • This weight loss technique can lead to muscle deterioration. The body is the last to “part with” fat deposits. When following the “Fluff” diet, muscle mass may decrease, which makes it unattractive for women actively involved in sports.

The “Pushinka” diet can undermine health if a woman has vitamin deficiency. This method of losing weight can aggravate the condition of the fair sex.

It is not recommended to follow the “Pushinka” diet for more than a week. A rigid menu can cause the following unwanted complications:

  • Decreased immunity;
  • The appearance of rashes on the body;
  • Deterioration of the functions of the digestive tract;
  • Muscular dystrophy.

Important Terms

The presented diet is low-calorie. Rapid weight loss can provoke negative changes in the body. To avoid the development of negative consequences, you must adhere to certain rules:

  • drink at least 1.5 liters of water daily to prevent dehydration in the body;
  • additional intake of special vitamin complexes is recommended;
  • don’t forget about physical exercise: run, swim, attend fitness classes;
  • prepare for the diet in advance, a week before the start of the diet, start reducing the calorie content of foods, get used to drinking plain water;
  • If you feel worse, consult a doctor.

Pushinka diet: reviews and results

On the Internet you can find a variety of reviews about the Pushinka diet. Some people tolerate it well and it gives amazing results, while others cannot stand it for even a week. The diet requires certain preparation - you need to reduce the caloric content of the diet in advance, then the limited diet will be easier to tolerate.

From those who have lost weight, there are practically no complaints about the feeling of hunger, but the risk of breakdown is high due to the need to eat pearl barley porridge every day, with every meal. Besides, not everyone loves her. In general, the diet gives good results, and losing minus 35 kg on the Pushinka diet is quite possible if all requirements and recommendations are strictly followed.

How this method works

Fluff is a technique that will require willpower on your part. Author Pushinki Irina lost 35 kilograms in three months. The blog states that it hasn't been easy, even though the menu and proposed rules are strict and enforceable.

The figure is impressive! But not everything is so rosy and simple. Only a strong desire to lose excess weight helped the girl not to break down. If you are aiming for such a result, get ready that you will have to show remarkable restraint, just like with any weight loss.

Irina chose delicious and healthy pearl barley porridge as the main product of Pushinka’s diet.

Pearl barley is a grain made from barley. It satisfies perfectly and dulls the feeling of hunger. Your intestines will be especially grateful to you for this porridge, because it contains a lot of healthy fiber. Copper, phosphorus and iodine contained in pearl barley accelerate metabolism, and valuable selenium at the cellular level prevents mutations and aging.

Benefits of the Pushinka diet

Fractional meals are loved and revered by nutritionists. The feeling of hunger does not have time to arise, and we do not strive for harmful snacks. Pushinka diet products are healthy and complement each other well:

  • Pearl barley is beneficial for the production of collagen, as a result of which the skin looks healthy and toned. Often weight loss ends in stretch marks on the skin - Pushinka allows you to avoid this.
  • Kefir helps restore intestinal microflora, increasing immunity.
  • Cabbage is a real storehouse of vitamins, minerals and fiber. Such a delicate topic as daily bowel movements is also under control.
  • Fish allowed on the Pushinka diet contains healthy fats and amino acids that make the diet complete.
  • The menu contains proteins, fats and carbohydrates, therefore, weight loss will occur due to fat deposits, and muscle mass will not be affected. Due to a sufficient amount of carbohydrates, you do not feel tired all day long, you can work or play sports without worry.
  • A salt-free diet removes excess fluid, waste and toxins from the body, and relieves swelling.
